Langkawi has it all, the white sand beaches, the lush, tropical jungles, the wide open roads, perfect for exploring, and even the waterfalls. If you’re in need of cooling down, skip the beaches (save those for suntanning later) and head straight to the Seven Wells waterfall.

Langkawi didn't give off the best first impression, with her overly commercial tourist area, but there was so much more to this lovely island than just Cenang. Renting a scooter and exploring the beaches and night markets allowed Langkawi to redeem herself, and I soon found myself falling for her laid back charm.
